A New Trend in Hotel Industry-Qbic or Pod Hotels

They say 'need' is the mother of every new invention. Same goes true if we consider Qbic or pod hotels. Especially in urban areas of the world where population is too much saturated and to find a place to live is really difficult and expensive. In this scenario the concept of "pod hotels" or as the name suggests "Qbic hotels" has really revolutionized the way people especially travelers are looking for in a cheap or cost-effective accommodation. If you've ever visited a city like New York City, Tokyo, London etc. you know how hard it is to find a safe and comfortable accommodation for just under $150 per night. And most hotels charge over $200 per night, but here Pod Hotels or Qbic Hotels are what who really fulfill your need! Plus not only they offer amazing prices but they are normally within easy walking distance to all the important business centers because of their compact sizes which allow them to be installed in most drenched areas of a city like near car parking, airports, railway stations and near other busy commercial buildings.

Since pod hotels or Qbic hotels are smaller in size, therefore they actually make up for in luxury and approach. For an overnight holiday they are wonderful but the only drawback they have is that you perhaps won't reside longer than a week owing to their compact sizes. Because of receiving titanic popularity now-a-days many companies are making radical changes like installing rotating-beds, flat screens, and surround-sound stereo systems etc.etc. to make your break as comfortable as possible.
In pod hotels of course the quarters are not big they are small but they are certainly stylish and even provide state-of-the-art facilities like iPod docking stations, LCD televisions, and complimentary wireless internet. They have on-situate restaurants and a rooftop bar. Bathrooms are tiny and have barrage-start shower furniture and stainless steel sinks. In winter pod hotels generally tender elite discounts. You can have comfortable accommodation for as low as $99 per night including taxes. So they try to poise between affordability and convenience. There are different categories like hogwash-bed scope for two personnel, magnify place (with one clone bed), ruler span (with one king bed) or an unmarried span (with one twin bed). All these categories carry a different price-tag but they are in no ways comparable to a regular hotel as far as their rates are concerned. Here I would like to quote a saying  "every penny saved is a penny earned" so the money you save through staying in a pod hotel can be spent on doing other leisure activities.

Now let us discuss about the pod hotels in some great cities of the world.

Japanese Pod Hotels:
The say Japan is the first country where this trendy new idea was conceived and then pod hotels were built and installed since Japan is a country where land's cost is highest in the world. Japan's idea of a pod hotel resembles a morgue with slide out body trays. The pods charge about $50 per night and are 3 feet expansive, 3 feet high, and generally 6 feet long. Although these hotels chairs are factually sleeping pod capsules that are just big enough for someone to slide into, and sleep but all the primitive services are provided like lighting, siren clocks, radio even small television sets.

Amsterdam's Qbic hotels:

Amsterdam's Qbic Hotel is usually 8 by 10 feet. Not only do they give their customers better space as compared to Japan's pod hotels, but they also supply better facilities like comfortable bedding, radios, in-area safes, wireless internet, and televisions. And on top of that the guests nickname their own repress-ins through the computer kiosks installed inside the Qbic hotels. An interesting feature is the guests who book furthest in loan get most discounts. With all these facilities they cost only between $80 to $200 a night for an area depending on their furnishing benefit services.
Pod hotels in London:
The London’s pod hotels are operated by a company called 'easy Jet'. These pod hotels are famous with their nick name 'Easy Hotels'. They rate their guests less than $50 a night for a quarter that only has a bed, toilet and a shower. Nevertheless because of this amazing price-tag they are extremely popular especially with bachelors like me!
